What’s included in the prep fee?
Covers standard setup/breakdown. Customizations (unique backdrops, playlists, special prep) may add to this fee and are discussed in advance.
What are risk and labor fees?
Risk fees are based on event theme and needs; labor fees for early/late setup, stairs, long distances, or extra cleaning. Both are quoted in advance and may be combined if your event requires extra effort or safety.
How do travel fees work?
Applied if your event is more than 15 miles from Kapolei. Calculated by distance, included in your quote.
How does overtime work?
Billed for any time past scheduled end. Any part of an hour is a full hour. Past midnight may incur higher rates. Details in your quote/invoice.
Are all fees included in my quote?
Yes, all applicable fees are automatically calculated and included—no hidden charges.
Are there extra fees for late-night or holiday events?
Yes, surcharges for events late at night, overnight, on holidays, or high-demand dates. Always disclosed in your quote.
When is a cleaning fee charged?
Only if equipment requires extra cleaning (heavy spills, food, mud, glitter, etc.). Clearly noted on your invoice.
Where can I find out the exact amount for these fees?

Do you charge for special equipment or custom requests?
Yes, for add-ons like extra speakers, lighting, backdrops, cameras, or unique setups. All custom fees are quoted/itemized up front.
Will I see all fees before I book?
Yes—all fees are reviewed during booking, listed in your written quote, and shown on your invoice. If any special condition applies, it’s explained/documented up front.
